Prepaid wedding licenses that are issued usually expire within 90 days after the issuance date. If you are eloping here, you will be able to obtain your marriage license from the San Francisco county clerk. You can even obtain it on the same day, just make sure it is at least 30 mins before the ceremony. Acquire the official information and requirements here.

Comparison between the public civil ceremony cost and private

The public SF City Hall wedding ceremony takes place on a grand staircase. The cost of the civil ceremony ranges from $90 to $95. These nuptials are quite common and popular amongst couples.

You can also host a private wedding at the stunning Mayor’s Balcony or Fourth Floor Gallery. The former allows the accommodation of 40 guests while the latter provides a comfortable setup for up to 60 guests. You can have the marriage ceremony of your dreams for just $1000.
